Reed Tones

Reminiscent of fiber art and basketry, Reed Tones upholstery elevates the simplicity of an up-the-roll stripe into a textural, tactile design. To weave this fabric, four different yarns were used, including North American wool, recycled cotton and polyester, and woven on a double beam construction. Eleven warp colors of various thicknesses within each colorway create Reed Tones’ signature subtle pattern fluctuation. The corded appearance features raised and recessed channels, creating a multi-faceted surface across the 26” horizontal repeat, allowing the rhythm and energy of the stripe to take hold.
