There is no cost to join. Mercato Place is free for qualified designers, architects, and specifiers.

Designers, architects, and specifiers can easily join Mercato Place. The ‘join’ button can be found at the top right corner of the website’s home page. Complete the form, and an email confirmation will be sent upon approval of your registration. Please note, registering with a public domain address (i.e., Gmail, Yahoo, AOL) or a shared company email address (i.e., library@, info@, etc.) may delay the approval process.

The Mercato Place fulfillment center is paperless, we utilize shipping and packaging materials made of recycled materials, and offer specialized, Eco-friendly shipping options on all orders. In addition, a return and recycling program is available for all of the material samples we distribute.

Mercato Place is the premier place for designers and manufacturers to meet. Specifiers are encouraged to explore a curated collection of materials and trends from top industry distributors and manufacturers.

Yes, our partners are notified when you place an order that includes a sample from their collection.

We understand that each project is different and we strive to make the process to locate and specify the perfect material as simple as possible for all of our users. Please order as few or as many samples as you need.

You can fully trust the specifications and details listed in every product description. We always encourage direct communication with your brand representative to be certain your material selection is favorable for your specification and end-use prior to purchasing.

You can return samples by selecting the 'return' option in your order history. A return label will be generated for you at no cost. Simply print, attach to the original packaging and return to our fulfillment center.
